In 1999, Hamad Al-Asfour earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of San Diego, USA. By then, Mr. Al-Asfour joined Kuwait Investment Authority in affiliation with global financial conglomerates.

In 2001, Mr. Al-Asfour played a major role in the re-structuring of the Kuwaiti based Mabanee Company, introducing one of the finest real estate developments in the Middle East "The Avenues".

In 2003, Mr. Al-Asfour joined Philip Morris International - the world's leading international tobacco company and the 4th largest global consumer packaged goods company. Mr. Al-Asfour developed company objectives and strategies for the GCC and implemented business plans to ensure a predictable business environment for the Company.

Mr. Al-Asfour chaired MENA Capital Holding since its inception in December 2006. On February of 2009, he was appointed as Chairman & Managing Director for the Company to identify and articulate the Company's corporate and investment strategy including its vision, its objectives and intent, its challenges and opportunities, its strengths and vulnerabilities.

Mr. Al-Asfour currently holds a Board of Directors position in National Investments Company and the Kuwaiti based Gulf Dredging and Contracting Company.

In 2011, Mr. Al-Asfour received his MBA from the American University of the Middle East in affiliation with Purdue University of Indiana, USA.

In 2007, Khaled Al-Falah graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He then joined the Product Development department at NBK Capital, the investment arm of the National Bank of Kuwait, one of the leading banks in the Middle East region.

In 2008, Mr. Al-Falah moved onto the Investment Banking Division within Goldman Sachs. Based in Dubai, Mr. Al-Falah was part of the Middle East and North Africa team and was involved in several landmark transactions in the region.

In 2010, Mr. Al-Falah returned to Kuwait in order to join Mohammed Abdulmohsin Al-Kharafi & Sons (Kharafi Group), taking on several roles within the family owned conglomerate.

Mr. Al-Falah has been a Board Member of MENA Capital's Board of Directors since 2008, and appointed as Vice Chairman in 2010.

In 1990 Basel Kanaan received his graduate degree in Civil Engineering from Kuwait University. By then, Mr. Kanaan joined Al-Othman Trading & Contracting Company as a Civil Engineer where he performed engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of the Company's operational structures and facilities.

In 1993 Mr. Kanaan moved onto Kuwait Prefabricated Building Company as a Site Engineer where his engineering expertise was used to oversee construction sites of the Company.

Mr. Kanaan currently heads the Regional Sales division for Gulf Cable & Electrical Industries Company, one of the major industrial organizations listed on the Industrial Sector of the Kuwait Stock Exchange.

Mr. Kanaan joined the Board of Directors of MENA Capital Holding in 2010.

In 2003, Al Muthana Al-Maktoom received his Bachelor of Finance in Business Administration from the University of Kuwait. By then, Mr. Al-Maktoom joined the prominent National Investments Company, Local & Arab Investments as an Assistant Financial Analyst to develop and determine both present and future financial performance of the Company’s units and projects.

In 2006, Mr. Al-Maktoom supported the development, implementation and management of investment strategies in his duty as a Senior Investment Officer. Currently, Mr. Al-Maktoom heads the Business Development division of National Investments Company.

Mr. Al-Maktoom joined the Board of Directors of MENA Capital Holding in 2009 and held other Board Member positions in the First Real Estate Investment Company and A’mal Holding Company.

Faisal Khasawneh carries a Master of Sciences in Mathematical Trading and finance from Cass Business School. He has had a wide ranging experience covering Renewable Energy, B2B Media, IT and Finance. In this time he has worked for Euromoney Institutional Investor, Bank of New York and a private renewable energy project in the UK involving Centrica and the National Grid.

In 2006, Mr. Khasawneh joined Barclays Ventures (a wholly owned subsidiary of Barclays Bank plc), where he was part of a post-acquisition portfolio management team for a portfolio of 40+ companies. Barclays Ventures is a proprietary private equity business focusing on small to mid market buyouts in the United Kingdom and Europe.

In 2009, Mr. Khasawneh then joined the Olayan group as part of the investments division. Within the group he has worked as part of the Research, Private Equity, Listed Equities and Equity Derivatives functions. He is currently a Portfolio Manager covering listed Equities and Derivatives in the MENAT region.

Mr. Khasawneh joined the Board of Directors of MENA Capital Holding in 2012 as well holds the Board of Directors position in Farabi Investment Company and Al Fursan Private Equity.
